The kids will love this free printable Halloween scavenger hunt. Walk or drive around the neighborhood and see who can find the most items.
‘Tis the season. No, not that season. The OTHER great holiday- Halloween! If you’re anything like me, you’re looking for something to keep the kids busy. But not something that requires too much effort. That’s where this free printable Halloween scavenger hunt comes in.
Easy to print and play. Just walk or drive around your neighborhood and see who can find the most items.
I’ve also included a blank version for you to make your own scavenger hunt for the little ones. This works great if you need to play indoors. Or if there isn’t a lot of Halloween decor in your neighborhood.

It has EVERYTHING you need for a fabulous holiday. It’s 150+ pages and includes:
• Organizing- calendars, costume planner, etc.
• Party planner
• 15+ different games
• Decor (banners, wall art, food & drink wrappers, cupcake toppers, and more)
• Halloween & pumpkin recipes
Instructions for Playing
You can give each person their own scavenger hunt. And let each person “call” the item as they see it. Only the first person to see that particular item can claim it. For example, if a house has a witch decoration, the first person to call it can cross off witch. No one else can use THAT particular witch. But if there is another witch on the next house, someone else can call that one.
Or you can get different colored pencils. Each person has their own color. The first person to “call” an item colors in the square with their color. The person with the most at the end wins.
Instructions for Printing
• Print options: regular paper works just fine. You can also use card stock if you want them to be a bit sturdier.
• All of the files are in pdf below. Just hit the “download” button (or pink word “download,” depending upon browser).
• The default size of these is full-page. However, if you want smaller, simply reduce the print size. If you’re not sure on how much to reduce, check out my post “How to Resize Printables to Fit Your Planner.”

Blank Halloween Scavenger Hunt
I’ve also included a blank scavenger hunt. This will work great if you need to do an indoor version or if there aren’t a lot of “traditional” Halloween decorations in your neighborhood. Just fill in your own unique items and let the kids have fun.
