Easy White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzels: Fabulous Christmas Treat

White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzels Recipe. You only need three ingredients to make this easy, delicious, festive treat for Christmas. Great for a party or gift.

‘Tis the season! If your holiday season is anything like mine, you’re busy. Very busy. If so, you’re going to love white chocolate peppermint pretzels. You only need three ingredients for this fabulous Christmas treat.

And they’re easy to make. Melt some chocolate. Dip. Sprinkle some peppermint crumbles over them. Let it set. You’re done. These are fabulous for a holiday party or for a gift.

This is a great recipe to make with the kids. You can make it a family activity.

To break up the candy canes, I put them in a Ziploc bag and hit them vigorously with my rolling pin.

When you’re melting the white chocolate, be sure not to overheat it. Chocolate scorches and seizes very easily. Always heat on 50% power and stir between each heating cycle.

White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzels

Easy, delicious, festive treat for Christmas. Great for a party or as a gift.

Equipment

  • Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 20 pretzel rods
  • 3 4-oz. pkgs. Ghirardelli white chocolate baking bar
  • 12 candy canes

Instructions

  • Unwrap candy canes and crush. Set aside.
  • Break up the white chocolate and place in a glass. Heat in microwave for 45 seconds at 50% power. Stir. Continue heating for 30 second intervals (at 50% power), stirring after each heating cycle until chocolate is melted.
  • Dip pretzel in white chocolate. Tap off excess chocolate. Sprinkle with broken up candy canes. Set on parchment paper and allow to dry.
  • Repeat with all pretzel rods. Allow to set.
  • Serve.
