Wrap each sausage in one piece (1/3 a slice) of bacon. (Recommend only having a small bit of bacon out of fridge at a time; easiest to work with when cold). Stab with toothpick to hold bacon on sausage.
Place on foil-lined jelly-roll pan. Place close together.
After pan is filled, sprinkle brown sugar over sausages.
Bake 20-25 minutes until bacon done. Serve immediately or place in crock-pot on warm.
Alternative: Melt one stick of butter, mix with brown sugar and then pour over sausages. Bake as normal.
