Where to Find Graphic Designs (Including 1,000s of Free Graphics).
Graphic designs resource list, including a ton of free graphics.
When I first started making printables, I struggled to figure out where everyone was getting images and graphic designs. Especially free graphics (or cheap graphics). I kept thinking to myself “not everyone can be making their own art!?” Turns out I was right. In fact, few people making printables were making their own art. There are graphics (yes, some free) all over the internet.
Graphic designs and clip-art are also needed in designing websites (like my header), media kits, and more. So if you’ve been wondering where to find fabulous graphics…look no more. I’ve rounded up my common stops on the internet.

My absolute favorite is Creative Fabrica. They have a ton of free designs. But I went ahead and paid for membership because they have SO MANY fabulous graphics. And I’m always looking for new ones for many printables i make.
There is now over 100,000 freebies. Yep, a HUNDRED THOUSAND. Most of them you won’t use. And a ton are fonts. But there are some great graphics buried in there.
Their license is also great. Everything includes a commercial license, so no digging through the fine print to figure out if that particular graphic can be used on your website or in your printables.
The Hungry Jpeg has a ton of freebies. They add new ones all the time, so check back often. Right now there are over 700 free graphics, free fonts, free papers, etc. I just downloaded some butterfly graphics I didn’t have! Check the license…most are more commercial, but a few are personal use only.
They are my second to-go when it comes to purchasing graphics, too. For a few reasons.
1. Their license is very liberal. It used to be limited to 10 times usage, but now it’s unlimited for most projects.
2. Their bundles are AMAZING! I never use all the fonts, but the graphics are great. I do a lot of holiday stuff, and they have a new bundle every month. Honestly, I need to stop purchasing graphics. I have enough to do holidays for the next three years and never re-use something.
Design Bundles has a TON of freebies (and the freebies are of fabulous quality) and their licenses are great. (If you get more than 100,000 views or sell 10,000 units a month, you need a different license than the standard).
Deal Jumbo is one of my new favorites!
1. The ton of freebies impressed me. Seriously…there are A LOT. A lot are fonts, but if you scroll through all the fonts, there are some treasures buried.
2. But the new watercolor bundle I got for just $12 really won me over.
3. And their license is fabulous.
(If you have trouble getting to the following pages on the freebie link, just click freebies in the bar on top…then go to the rest of the pages…my referral link only shows the first page).
Another popular stop when I’m looking for free graphics is Pixabay. Everything is free and almost everything is CC0. Aka: you can use it as much as you want, no attribution required.
They also have a ton of clip art that use when making printables, especially coloring sheets. I feel bad paying money for a plain outline of something that someone else is going to color!
A new find of mine is OpenClipArt.org. Everything is CC0 (use as much as you want, free, no attribution required). And I found a ton of flower outlines. I’ve been doing more coloring stuff, so open outline stuff is vitally needed. But there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of simple graphics and clip art pieces.
Design Cuts has a TON of freebies and their licenses are great.
Rarely used…but you might find useful
• Etsy.com has graphics, not just hand-made physical products. Just search for what you’re looking for. License varies by seller, so read carefully.
• Mighty Deals. I just found this but I think I like it. They do have some freebies, but they’re limited. (A lot are icons and mock-ups, which I don’t use). But they did have some graphics and some great grunge backgrounds. They also do bundle sales of graphics and their license is one of the most liberal I’ve seen.
Reusable Art. Everything is CC0, but limited selection. There is some cute stuff, though.
Luvly. Some free stuff. Limited selection, but all cute.
Pixelo. Very good extended license, but limited offerings. They do have some freebies, though.
MyDesignDeals.com. Very good extended license, but limited offerings on website. Bundles decent, but only available for limited times…but they leave them up on website. So you can search for something, find a fabulous bundle, and it’s not available.
PublicDomainPictures.net. Most is CC0, but mostly images (not graphics, clipart). There are some, though.
Freepik. I don’t use them for a couple of reasons. First, it’s mostly vector graphics. I don’t use Illustrator, so I don’t need (nor can even use) vector graphics. Second, most are attribution required unless you buy premium membership. I think that’s really the point…they’re selling the membership. But they do have a great selection.
Graphic Burger. Free for personal and commercial use. But an eclectic mix.
Design Cuts. Everything costs, but decent quality and license.
Inky Deals. Does bundles based around a certain theme: photoshop effects, watercolor, brushes, etc.
StockUnlimited. They have both a pay for images and a subscription service. The subscription service is something I’m going to look into…unlimited downloads.
Shutterstock. Expensive, but good quality.
Free Design Resources. Free, but mostly fonts. There are some graphics, though.
